Always Paint In This Order

1. CeilingsĀ – Always paint the ceiling first toavoid paint dripping on walls that you’ve just painted. Paint across the short width to get a more even finish.

2. Walls – Do the borders first and work downwards. At a window or door, paint along the top band and repeat the process at the bottom.

3. Trim Work On Windows & Doors – Mask the areas (such as hinge, knob, latch) that do not require painting with masking tape. Paint the inner frame first and work outwards. For doors, paint in the following order: moulder surfaces, panels, horizontal segments, vertical segments and finally the edges.
